With the continuing escalation of the COVID 19 pandemic and the governments latest announcement, the recreational facilities are still open in the village including the Gala Field/Memorial Field, Jubilee Garden and the grassed area of the Play Park. Hook Parish Council kindly request that parents/guardians do not allow their children to use the play equipment due to the increased risk of infection transmitted from surfaces and we should respect the government guidelines regarding keeping a safe distance apart others - stay safe.

Hook Play Park

High Street, Hook DN14 5PJ

There are picnic benches, benches and litter-bins within the park.

Hook Parish Council has been successful in securing amounts of funding via the Tesco Bags of Help, Goole Fields Wind Farm Fund, Big Lottery Fund and Sixpenny Wood Wind Farm, which helped greatly towards the purchase and installation of new equipment for the Play Park, replacement of fencing and gate to the front of the Play Park, picnic benches and tree planting.
